The bill states that “a digital asset mining business may operate in this state if the digital asset mining business complies with state law concerning business guidelines and tax policies,” safety guidelines, employment laws and other applicable regulations.”A person that is engaged in home digital asset mining or that has a digital asset mining business shall not be considered a money transmitter under the Uniform Money Services Act, ยง 23-55-101 et seq.””Discrimination against digital asset mining business prohibited.”The bill was already passed in the State Senate and is on the way to the governor’s office for approval.
