Cash App users can now send and receive bitcoin payments instantly via the Lightning Network, per an announcement from the company’s product lead, Michael Rihani.Previously, Cash App users could only send bitcoin lightning payments, but users can now also receive bitcoinusing Lightning wallets.Integrates BIP21 so a single QR code can receive either onchain or lightning payments depending on senders preference.Lightning functionality is not available to New York residents due to state specific regulation.
